I really enjoyed shooting this Polish wedding in my homeland. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun too and way to many images to go through at the end. I just started working on them and have hardly gone through one third of it. I'm pretty sure I will post some more soon :)
This is a close-to-a-final version of the promotional video I made for my website - www.marekd.com. It's very possible that I will remove the the animated business card at the end of it and make a separate video out of it. The quality isn't the best because of blog's compression filters. You can view a better resolution version here: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KLBQ9SPQ37M. Click "watch in high quality" to play it in even better resolution.
Enjoy, and don't forget to leave a comment letting me know what you think!
Here is the invitation that I designed, along with my Dearest Love - Anne, for our wedding. First and second page photos of us are by my good friend, Jack McGrath. Click on the picture for a larger view.
My love for photography began one rainy afternoon when my brother gave me a fantasy book. At twelve years of age I was absolutely captivated by its power to immerse one in a place that didn’t even exist. Ever since, I’ve been looking for a medium that would allow me to do just that.
When I got my first camera I discovered that this other place is in what is looked at so much, yet so little seen – the world around us. At last I found myself capable of showing places the way I see them, and people based on what I see in them.
